On January 7, 2011, Jiangsu Changshun Group invested 100 million yuan to establish Jiangsu Changshun Polymer Materials Research Institute Co., Ltd.
In 2019, the Group invested 200 million yuan to build a new R & D building for the Science and Technology Innovation Center. On November 18 of the same year, the new building of Jiangsu Changshun Polymer Materials Research Institute was officially put into use, covering an area of 6,600㎡and a construction area of 32,000㎡, aiming at promoting the research and development work oriented to "innovate for the success of customers" and accurately simulating the application environment of customers, so as to further enhance the research and development of Changshun Group and enhance the long-term core competitiveness of enterprises.
Insisting on independent innovation, Changshun Research Institute was awarded "Jiangsu Enterprise Technology Center" in 2016, which successfully passed the recognition of high-tech enterprises in 2020, and the laboratory of the Analysis and Testing Center passed the CNAS accreditation (ISO/IEC17025) in 2023.

The titles of "Jiangsu Enterprise Technology Center" and "Standing Committee of Jiangsu Polymer and Composite Materials Professional Committee" strive to build a national enterprise research and development platform in 2025.
In 2015, the Research Institute and Zhejiang University carried out the research and development of the project "Research and Development of Continuous Production Process of HMMM", which passed the review of the expert committee in 2020 and was unanimously approved by the committee that the overall technology of the project has reached the "international advanced level".
